6 AM

6 AM and I’m running on coffee

Cruising through the underground

Sitting in my seat

What a cruel world gets me out of bed so early

I’d much rather be in some impossible dream

Suddenly a gaze brings me out of my morning haze

And with my eyes I met her eyes and I shyly look away

Did I really catch a glimpse of a smile ?

I think so

And out of the corner of my eyes I see she’s everything I desire

I wish that I could say

That I went over and asked her for her name

And I wish that I could serenade her

With a song as pretty as her face

But my stop was coming up

And I had no courage to muster up

So I stepped out of the train

Through the window I watched her roll away

Suddenly a gaze brings me out of my morning haze
